The students of class ten and teachers went one day trekking from Nagarkot to Saali River. Nagarkot is famous for site scene of Himalayan range.The day was clear and sun shinning.So we could see the the Himalayan range during whole trekking hours.It took about fours hours to trek the destination.The scenes were really heart touching and eye catching. We could collect a wonderful and new experience of trekking.We had lot joy and fun in the trekking.

The Principal's Tour

On 10th December, 2011, BSP School organized a principal's tour program. Some new parents and some old parents visited the school with the principal. The Principal Prem Oli, shared with the parents information about the new development of he school, like the kitchen garden, pin up boards, mini library system and the new library. He also shared information about how the students of BSP School learn English online. He informed the parents that he is going to set a standard English language class with a projector. All the parents were impressed with the new developments of the school. The students of the tour group shared with parents how they were organizing the recycle project and they asked all parents present to help them with their recycle project.

Teej, The festival of women

Teej" is the fasting festival for women. It takes place in August or early September. The festival is a three-day long celebration that combines sumptuous feasts as well as rigid fasting. Through this religious fasting, hindu women pray for marital bliss, well being of their spouse and children and purification of their own body and soul. Traditionally, the ritual of Teej is obligatory for all Hindu married women and girls who have reached puberty. Exception is made for the ones who are ill or physically unfit. In such circumstances a priest performs the rites. According to the holy books, the Goddess Parbati fasted and prayed fervently for the great Lord Shiva to become her spouse. Touched by her devotion, he took her for his wife. Goddess Parbati, in gratitude sent her emissary to preach and disseminate this religious fasting among mortal women, promising prosperity and longevity with their family. Thus was born the festival of Tee The first day of Teej is called the "Dar Khane Din". On this day the women, both married and unmarried, assemble at one place, in there finest attires and start dancing and singing devotional songs. Admist all this, the grand feast takes place. The jollity often goes on till midnight, after which the 24 - hour fast commences. Some women without a morsel of food or drops of water while others take liquid and fruit.

Dear Parents/Students /Friends

It is my great pleasure to share with you that my visit to Australia was very wonderful and fruitful. I was sponsored by Brown hill Creek Rotary Club. I am very thankful to this Rotary Club and its members. I stayed with David and Vivien Rusk for 11 weeks. They took care me like their little brother. I would like give a big thank you to them.

I learned lot of things there about education, life style and culture. My training was about school management, school leadership teaching techniques and teaching resources. It was a great opportunity for me to learn and extend the relation of my school to different schools. I made many friends and visited many places. I went to the countryside and got to know the country life too. I learned many things right away about life here and the laws of the road as I was going to the rotary club. As I visited the beach, the city of Sydney, farm houses and the greenery, and of school facilities. These were my impressions of Australia.

It was my first time to have an overseas visit. I was very exciting to visit Australia. I had lot of fun with many friends there. I came back home with lot of ideas, not only about education, but different ideas of life. I had time to improve my English. David always taught me English and his experiences of as a school principal . Now I am trying my best to use all these experiences at my school and in my life. I have confidence to be able to change the teaching techniques at my school for the better.

I was very happy to spend my week at the Unley Primary School. I love this school and its smart, active and lovely children. My First Beach Visit

I like to share you here about my feeling of first beach

"Prem!Lets go today ,to see the sea."As David Rusk told me , I was really exciting because I had never been at the sea beach in my 40s.It was like a dream for me.We Left David's home at 9:00am .The sun had been hot because its summer.We were running on the wide roads.I was imagining the narrow roads of Nepal.It was quite different to Nepal.I could be rarely looking the people walking on the road.A single man would be seen in the running car,for everyone has own car.I remembered the hundred people in Nepal hanging around a bus.We stopped at a place to meet Christine and Paul.I was very happy to meet them because they have been sponsoring to Nabina ,my student in Nepal.We spent there some hours.I thanked her for providing some books for my school and moved to Brighton Beach.I was so agitate to foot on the beach as David told me,"Prem!! Look at the sea!!!"wow!so wonderful! so beautiful!so wide! So gigantic but peace.we went on jetty to view the sea."click !click!!No time I missed to snap.Some people were swimming.some were fishing."Prem! it is squid.These are blue crabs."Take the photos." click !click!! I did it quick.Wonderful things for me.I was looking these all at first.Then we went to the beach. I took off my shoes and socks and rushed to the sea.A small tide hit me a light force.Wow!! I touched the sea. I felt the sea.I tasted the sea.Wonderful! So salty.I was enjoying the sea looking a long view."Prem !! look at here once."click click,David was taking my photos.Thanks David.I really enjoyed the beach.

On 28,january Blue sky Public school organized opening ceromany of inter school karate competition program.There were 286 players from twenty schools of Kathmandu valley.The program was inarguerated by sceneior fiml artist Madan Das Shrestha.The game will comtinue for two days.The studnetsod blue sky public school performed beautiful and cheerful dances.

On January 30th, Blue Sky Public School celebrated the closing ceremony of the Sports event. We celebrated both opening and closing ceremonies of this splended school event. The chief guest of the opening ceremony was Bhim Rawal, Home Minister. The chief guest of closing ceremony was Pakash Man Singh, Vice president of the Nepali Congress.
